The game didn't get a discount like that on the Australian eShop. It's AU$39.37

Nah I'm not a rhythm game guy and it also has DLC so I don't want to spend extra money on that either.

Edit: But the Nintendo Switch is sort of region free. You can create a North America Nintendo Account to download your games. Then play them on any profile. You'll have to get started with a North America eShop card tho.

From the way it's looking, it might be permanent and not even a price glitch. I don't think any announcements were made. Someone just came across it on the eShop and told everyone else.
