Lots of Zelda-inspired games have been coming out lately. Sword of the Necromancer is one of them. It's a dungeon crawler with rogue-lite elements and monster catching mechanics.

Sword of the Necromancer - First Look TGS 2019:

Features:
  • Revive defeated monsters as your allies so they fight for you.
  • Collect weapons and relics.
  • Level up your character and upgrade your stats.
  • Death in the game just means that you lose all of your equipped weapons and monsters. On the bright side, you'll keep half of the level you achieved in the run.
No release date revealed as of yet. What do you think?

I thought this was a seperate crypt of the necrodancer game. .-.

Need to see a bit more of it, but so far, it looks pretty cool.

Taking a look at the footage shown in the trailer, the game looks like it could be pretty fun. However, it looks a little slow, not in framerate, but just in general. The attacks take a little to long for my liking, and it just doesn't fit with the speed the rest of the game seems to go. However, looking past that It seems pretty enjoyable, and the idea of summoning monsters to fight alongside you looks nice.
