This is a homemade hyper offense team centered around Mega Altaria. The main core is Mega Altaria + Magnezone + Weavile; Magnezone traps and KOes Ferrothorn and Skarmory, which are huge problems for Mega Altaria, while Weavile adds a bit of additional Speed while crippling opposing Pokémon with Knock Off. This core struggles with stall, so Hex Gengar was added to be the be-all and end-all answer to stall on this team. Celebi fits well, as it lets the player use Mega Altaria a bit more recklessly and provides Healing Wish support, which is very helpful also because Weavile gets worn down very easily. It also provides a check to a multitude of physical attackers, most notably Mega Lopunny, which is very important because Mega Lopunny walks all over hyper offense teams. Lastly, Cobalion, while a very team-specific option, was added, as it provides many things for the team, such as Stealth Rock, which is a given on any competent team, a Bisharp and Weavile counter, and a Mega Gardevoir check.​

I see your point, being HO, is quite hard to handle Mons like Talon with this playstyle, but even when I don't have any counter, pretty much everyone can take a hit from it (excepte from Weavile, and maybe Mag if Talon carries Flare Blitz, wich is not as common as before, but still)

Pretty much, if I see a Talon in the opposing team, the plan is set up rocks as soon as possible a Punish every atempt of spin or defog.

Since Gengar is ussually Timid max Spe max SpAtk, I can use the bulky one as bait and do a good amount of damage with hex
Weavile can't take hits from it (at least from offensive variants) but it can outspeed and handle Talon with Ice Shard if Talon is low enough
Celebi can take hits too, and T-Wave Talon, making it much more easy to handle with Mons like Cobalion and Magnezone, wich can have a hard time against Flare Blitz if they are low enough
I'm not in my PC now, so I can't make the calcs right now

Anyways, the best way to deal with a threath like Talon with a team like this is playing really agressive against it, pressure the opponent's team with stealth rocks, and if the opponent is not carrying FB, Magnezone can handle it by itself (It would be good to scout for the Natural Gift Ground)

He can pick Talon off, once Talon is low enough, also

He may survive a Brave Bird (once again no the best idea)

Magnezone

He can tank brave bird for days, so is only a problem if the opposing Talon carries FB, wich...
252 Atk Talonflame Flare Blitz vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Magnezone: 254-300 (78.3 - 92.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
Even after stealth rock damage, Talonflame can do at most 300 damage (from 324) with Flare Blitz, making Mag a good choice to check an opposing Talon

Forget what I said before, Gengar is a bad idea to check Takon

Celebi

252 Atk Sharp Beak Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 148+ Def Celebi: 270-320 (66.8 - 79.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Neither FB nor BB can OHKO Celebi, if Celebi gets the T-Wave, you can use Mag to check Talon without a problem (since is forced to switch or BB)

Cobalion

252 Atk Talonflame Flare Blitz vs. 140 HP / 0 Def Cobalion: 230-272 (64.2 - 75.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

The most damaging move to hit Cobalion with is FB, and can OHKO
Volt switch does 34-40%, and gives you a free switch, so you can manage it with Magnezone or Weavile
