Moon/Sun team skull pokemon sun and moon

so in the reveal trailer of pokemon sun and moon one of them had a new enemy and they called themselves team skull which im guessing is basically a different version of team rocket. so judging by the trailer they kind of look intersecting or at least more intersecting than team rocket so anyway what are your thought on the new team rocket or team skull

Well, their designs are interesting, but Team Skull seems a lot different than Team Rocket.
At first glance, Team Skull may appear to be similarly designed to Team Rocket, but there are some key differences.

Yes, they both have black clothing and unfriendly looks, but if you look at them closely, you'll see that Team Skull wears more casual clothing, almost like a workout outfit. Notice the jogging pants, something that looks like tennis shoes, and the sleeveless shirts. They also seem to have some pretty lacking posture. Now look back at the Team Rocket Grunts. You'll notice their more formal clothing, including gloves, belts, and boots. They seem more suited for the city life.
I don't know too much about Team Skull's intentions yet, but they look like a gang that wants to cause mischief. Compare that to Team Rocket, a company-like organization doing shady stuff and making the big bucks off of it. I just don't think they're very comparable to Team Skull.
I hope that Team Skull will be an interesting villainous team and have an original goal in mind.

In my opinion Team skull is the first team that has a different feeling other then
"We're gonna use this legendary and rule the world"
And the leader of team skull knows Kukui (They got some beef )
Well we still don't know their intentions but it's the 20th year I hope they don't do the same cliché motive

Pros:
Not the typical criminal organization with way more casual clothing than any of the other teams in the past.
Not a bright color scheme/ low key so in the view of an average trainer they do not seem like threatening people.
They are not pirates. Or are they?
Cons:
Bland color scheme.
Simple designs on clothes (yeah this is Pokemon but whatever)
More of a gang than a team but only bikers are considered to be in gangs and any villain in Pokemon has to have the word team in their title as a part of tradition.
[joke] Those white sneakers will show a lot of dirt and blood.

My prediction of a kid oriented story.
Team Rocket didn't kill Cubone's mom that appeared in Lavender Town, Team Skull did.
Team Skull is hunting down Pokemon. Their bones contain special materials that can be used to genetically mutate modify existing Pokemon to full potential and fight like savages. Hence the ecosystem is out of balance.
Marowak is back from the dead and is reunited with Cubone.
Missingno. is a Mythical Pokemon when it returns to Aloha.

Hopefully they don't just steal/pirate Pokemon from trainers.

I would say that it is pretty obvious that they are like the team aqua and team magna. The only thing is that they look exactly the same in a way. The both dress alike. They both have the s necklace, one is just gold and the other is silver. But team skull sounds pretty cool. I would love it if they made a game where you were the bad guy and you had to take over the world. Jk
