My first official one was Barroth in MH3U on the 3DS. I was on summer vacation with my cousin and when we weren't catching rays of sun on the beach we were hunting in MH3U. haha

The first time where I first defeated a monster officially was the Great Jaggi in the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate demo and I have to say it was pretty satisfying . It was an online multiplayer match and I really liked it . I never played Monster Hunter 3 because I was confused of its controls but I really had so much fun defeating the Great Jaggi even if it meant over and over :D

Defeating a monster is always sooooo satisfying. :) It's a surreal feeling. You feel like you're on top of the world, honestly. haha

My first monster to defeat was the Great Jaggi and it was hard mainly because I had no clue what I was doing but I also had the double blade which I learned later were terrible but that combined with te fact that I was terrible and the most annoying part was that when I tried hitting it the little Jaggis just attacked me and knocked me back which was super annoying and yeah that's really the only reason I had so much trouble with it.

Not counting smaller monsters (Great Jaggi, Arzuros, etc.) my first would be the lagombi in the 3U demo. Man, the controls on the 3ds have a steep learning curve.

My first monster? Alatareon did put up a good fight but when i got out mah iron hammer... psych it was a Great Jaggi. And it killed me twice. And my trap failed. But when i knocked it unconcious i kicked it till it died so hahaha

First Large Monster is Giadrome on MHFU.
Next is Great Jaggi in MH Tri.
Last is Gore Magala in MH4U Demo.

The Giadrome fight is really a mixed feeling (almost all emotions are felt).
My first knockdown (over confidence) feels like i've seen a ghost or lost my console.
Then hitting the final blow on that Giadrome is a really sweet hit on a cloudy friday.

btw, always be careful and mindful in ever step because it might be your last.
