So long story short

Some guy uploaded a video to Snapchat showing the final artwork that included all the characters on the game

The artwork itself confirms at least 6 characters yet to be revealed, and about two others, but the quality of the image doesn't let you see them well enough and these 2 other could be just clouds in the background

People manage to uncover the name of the uploader, Eric Bricard, a French guy that, according to his Linkedin, worked at a printing company named Marina. Said company lists Bandai Namco as a company the have worked/currently work for

So of course everything is still not 100% confirmed, and may be leaked, but there are a lot of details, (like how the Miis are now together in the final image to make up space forthe new characters), and evidence (the linkedin profile has been moved to private​

This is probably fake, as most of them are. I’d be greatly surprised if Nintendo added Geno as a playable character, considering... Wait, I forgot they added King K Rool. Maybe it is possible then.

In all seriousness, this is probably fake. I recently saw a fake leak about Splatoon 2 that looked totally legit, but was then proved to be a lie. My advice is don’t get hyped up until this is proven true.

huh that's funny: you can re-arrange things, put up a blur filter: smooth out holes and inject blurry Images onto a Photoshop document and then print it onto a Wristband: come to think of it : Think we did something like that back in high school....

Ken: ok i guess, i would get him out in favor of incineroar s but one cannot have everithing they want in life and smash 4 introduced a lot of characters I wanted
Geno: i dont get why people care so much about him, but if he is in, congratulations for his fans
Banjo Kazooie: i guess they would be fun to play
Isaac: i readed somewhere that someone found a item from golden sun in the game , this is another character i dont get why people care so much about him, i tried to play golden sun but... i didnt liket it as much other people seems to like it
Mach Rider: i know nothing of him, no opinion
Chorus Kids: never cared about rithmin paradise overral i dont play music games very much

KOS-MOS: i dont see her in the pictures but i would love to see her in smash,she appeared in the two proyect x zone games so i dont see her inclussion being impossible

Out of all of them, Shadow is the most likely to come. Dont forget Shadow as an assist trophy was replaced with Knuckles in this game! This is basically screaming SHADOW.

None of these were true, which goes to show what I said earlier: Leaks are easily made and very deceiving. Don’t trust leaks until proven true by the creator of the game. That’s just like a rule, lol

yep, vergeben at the end was the one who was rigth (well mostly, since we didnt see a new square enix character but sometimes companies give fake info to catch leakers so it doesnt have to be a lie, just that he got false information)


about the dlc, it seems vergeben talked something about... ¿katalina from granblue fantasy being a dlc? i mean, he was responding another person , but now that i think it nintendo is co-developing dragalia lost with cygames (the developers of granblue fantasy) and nintendo owns like the 5% of cygames, i would love if she could be one of the DLC, announced along a port of the ps4 granblue game, it would be totally hype for me

Well, I believed the leak. It just seemed so real; how could it be fake??? Now, I've learned not to trust any leaks until they're confirmed. After such a legit-looking leak, it's easy to see why people would be disappointed, but Sakurai himself said he would slow down on character announcements after Isabelle's reveal. The leak just got people's hopes up, and made everyone disappointed later on.
