I'm Not A Pikachu
Towns Folk
Looking through the internet, I came across something that made me take a trip down memory lane. Being born in 81, I remember what this guy looked like way back when. Amazing how far technology as come from one point to another. Who would have guessed a mustachioed, overall wearing, hyper, jumping plumber would come so far and win over so many people. Which of these was your first glimpse of our mustachioed hero?

Even though I've played Super Mario Bros. (as most have), I would say my first real run-in would be the Super Mario World games, and then Super Mario 64 (which still remains one of my favorite games to date). :cat:

Super Mario 64 was pretty cool. I'm still kinda partial to Paper Mario though. I mean who didn't love paper airplanes? lol

Yeah I remember what Mario was like back in the old days . Things really have changed these days haven't it ;) . I also liked Super Mario 64 because I liked this 3d like world and the fun things you can do . I liked that Mario still continues to be a great series and it was very cool from the first time it was introduced . I hope that the series continues to be like that forever because I am a Mario fan and though I started being one quite late . I did get to try the first game and never knew why I didn't try it from the start :rotfl:

I was born in 1997, but I started off with a SNES and Super Mario World. I played 64 as I got older, but then I was truly introduced to Mario and video games altogether when I starting playing Sunshine. I eventually worked my way to playing all of the Super Mario Bros games, and I enjoy most of them to this day.

I think the first time i ever played a mario game and saw mario was when i was playing a GBA mario game in which i think you could get hammer power ups and all that and it was a lot harder than expected especially when crossing water or on the desert.

Lol I remember that one. It was very frustrating

my first glimpse was new super mario bros wii.my favorite game from watching/playing is super mario 64 even though i think jolly roger bay is hard

That is very true and a good point. However, I did say that it was amazing how technology has changed which is about the same thing. To verify what I was saying was which of those technology based Mario's are the first you remembered.

1991 one, the first Mario game I played was on MS-DOS. Yeah; I don't even know if it was official or a fan port or what, but it was extremely fun.
