Watching this picture, I am really proud to see how far the Pokemon series have improved, in terms of graphics, the battle mode, and so much more. Let me know what you think!

Personally, this picture reminds me so many memories from the Gameboy Era...
And, yes, I am satisfied with the current evolution of Pokemon games, and if there was a new Pokemon game that would be released on the 3DS, I would sure go for it.

The game has definitely changed a lot as the years progressed. However, it isn't just by graphics that it's changed, the overall theme of it has too. Some pokemon you can just tell are from a certain gen just because of the type of design looks they were going for at the time.

Ahh. wonderful memories. When i played Pokemon Fire Red, and when I caught my first Pokemon: Pidgey, I actually said this: RPG's like this cannot get any better, this is the best we can have. And 7 years later, I am like whatever I said, was taken into account and now this is the new Gen of Pokemon Games :D

I don't doubt that the Pokemon experience has been improved for the most part. However, I'm a bit disappointed by the fact that the games are just taking little steps at a time. Pokemon X/Y optimized the Pokemon experience to a point where I feel it is nearly perfect. However, it did not revolutionize the series in any way. I wanted to see much more expansive and fleshed put regions that felt more like an open world rather than a bunch of cities connected by routes. I want to see more areas to explore after the game, and even a plotline to go along with the areas. These are just some ideas to help make each iteration of Pokemon feel like a big step forward from the previous game.
