The New 3ds xl should have come with the charger

Isn't it stupid to sell a video game handheld console without a charger! Why is nintendo selling the charger separately and not with the console? What are your views on this?

I think it's better sold without the charger since it's the same charger as the old 3DS. So people who already own a charger save money by not buying one implicitly and are not overstocked with chargers.

I was unhappy about this... Seriously. Even if you already own one, you still need one if you want to sell your old console. Keeping multiple 3Ds is a bit silly... so anyway, one always ends up having to buy a charger, being the person buying the New 3DS or the perosn buying the used 3DS.

Ha, I got a new black 3DS..good thing I had a DSI charger-But what if I didnt have a DSI charger? I would of been screwed. (Cause that sucka drained all my cash out)

It's happened with the original 3DS XL as well; it's sort of become a regular thing with Nintendo. At least the original 3DS had one included.

I don't mind; I already had a charger. (Talking about my 3ds xl now) On environmental grounds it's actually a great move, by making sure people can keep using their old chargers less chargers need to be produced (and given out). That means less emissions and from both production and shipping. Why give out chargers when a lot of people already have one?Plus, I got a free charger anyway (I still haven't got it out of it's packaging). At MediaMarkt the staff was allowed to offer a free charger to anyone in order to persuade them to get a 3ds.

Meh, kinda annoying, but not a deal breaker for me. I mean, I still need my old charger, since I'm the type to just let systems pile up, and thus need to buy a new one. However, I think it's fine for Nintendo to want to save money. Plus, my 3ds is at the end of its rope after 4+ years of constant use...

I bought a New 3DS XL but still kept my old 3DS XL. For multiple reasons. One being that the C-Stick on the New 3DS XL is unusable so I like to play MH4U better on my old 3DS XL with the Circle Pad Pro for example.

Well I don't really see the point of having two chargers. If yours break, just buy anotther one. The "yeah but if you had two, you wouldn't had to buy another one" sentence applies to more than a charger. I can say that about your computers or your smartphone, etc, but you still wouldn't want to have two of those.
And if you didn't own one, nothing prevents you from buying a charger at the same store you bought your New 3DS. And you'll be glad when you'll buy your New 3DSi XL2 Titanium that a charger is not included so that you save money.

Well, it does work when I put my fingers sideways.
But if I try to put my thumb on it while holding my N3DSXL normally, my nail hits the hinge of the console before my thumb is on the stick...

I would say that I can expect most Nintendo users to already have bought a Dsi or a 3ds by this time so I would say meh for Nintendo not adding a charger to the New 3ds XL . However there are some people just new to the community of Nintendo so I think that they should have put the charger in it . Suppose your old charger sudden stopped working ? then that would be really bad . What was so wrong in putting a charger ? :/

They could have put it below the ABXY buttons, which is where it was on the GCPad by the way. And while they were at it, they could have put a true stick here.

Then the price would've been more. If they had put the charger in, they would've increased the price of the console by like $10-$15. Either way, you're paying the same thing if you buy a charger.

it's because Nintendo wants to make a slightly bigger profit per N3DS XL sold, it makes sense.

I personally think it should come complete with the charger. Forking out extra money isn't really ideal and kinda ridiculous. xP

What ?! I even don't buy charger with nintendo 3ds xl still I got charger and memory card in the box well I guess was pretty luck , I think nintendo franchise want make profit so they are sell charger separately.
