How this tournament works :

This tournament will be a bit different from others. Your opponent has to select a character for YOU to play as for the match. The character has to be unlocked/available in your game for you to use.

You must have a copy of Smash 3DS to play. Smash U is optional (if both players have it).

Deadline for matches :

All matches should be done within 7 days. A coin flip will decide a winner for uncompleted matches.

Let's say Jerry from down the block had to use Pikachu because his opponent chose it for him. Now, Jerry has never used Pikachu effectively in his life, but somehow he managed to defeat his opponent D:

So the Pikachu managed to pull through and got away from defeat =P
