The pokemon anime. Opinions?

I'm sure we've all seen it or at least one episode, if not go watch a few episodes from each season.
I'm interested to know the following about what you think :

Favourite character from the anime and why?

Favourite season and why?

Favourite moment from the anime and why

For me personally my favourite character is May, she has so many ambitions and she just goes to show that we can achieve our goals if we put some effort into it. Favourite season would have to be the entire of the hoenn saga, best characters, best episodes, best pokemon, need I say more? And my favourite moment, I'm sorry to disappoint but I don't have a favourite moment.

I'm curious to know what you think,

Do you think pokemon should be classed as an anime, why?

My absolute honest opinion on the anime.... meh. First few seasons were amazing. After the Advanced series, everything went way, way downhill imo.

Yeah I know what you mean, the sinnoh era was just terrible

Well I don't have a favourite character but I did like the x and y episodes they were good especially the mega evolutions and the story line and the main character Ash how he climbed up the tower to calm garchomp and it seemed team Rocket were more mature and had better technology.To me pokemon should be an anime since it is popularly played by trainers all over the world and the story is good and if you put that into an episode then the anime would be good.

favorite character none, favorite season, not sure since i've seen every episode aside from the pikachu shorts which i need to catch up on, and not sure of absolute favorite moment, but i loved Ash's Mossdeep gym battle where Swellow absorbed Pikachu's deflectrd thunderbolt and turned golden along with Pikachu. very impressive for a flying type. and any moment with a perfect strategy. seeing Pikachu use iron tail to climb draco meteor was great too.
