The Poltergust appears in Super Smash Bros. 4

I think thatthe Poltergust can be both Luigi's final smash and his new down special. Here would be the difference: his down special would be the Poltergust 3000, the weaker version of the Poltergust vacuum, and for his final smash he would use the Poltergust 5000, the stronger version. Both are different and range in power. Poltergust 3000 would have a small suction and blowing action whereas the Poltergust 5000 would be able to suck and blow anything. So what do you think? i think that would be cool. but i think that there should be a power gust also. i know that it was not from a luigi's mansion game but i think that that would be cool.

Oh? This is awesome, I saw the screenshot, and I think that Luigi looks awesome with it, I haven't played Dark Moon as yet to know the different Poltergust(s) but it fits him well. In Super Smash Brawl did Luigi have the Poltergust in any moves? I can't recall, but at least this give his Final Smash an entire change, compare to that freaky, odd Final Smash he did a Brawl, that was very random.

No Luigi didn't have the Poltergust in his moveset. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl instead of changing his down special attack to the Poltergust, he kept his down special to the "Luigi Typhoon."
