Welcome to the skill library! Here, there are many books upon each shelf, each tell about a certain skill or spell. Tally up all the books, there is a book for every single spell/skill in existence!



Here is one!~

Borrowed Time

MP: 20
Target: Everyone except user.
Cooldown: 10 turns.
Effect: Freeze all except yourself in time! While they are frozen, they cannot make any actions for 3 turns, only letting the user act. You can use the time to deal heavy damage to an enemy, or heal up an ally. It also stops all regeneration and degeneration effects, allowing you to try to stall out something like Poison.

Oh, in that case :3

(Consider 300 MP the max for the average user)
Judgement Light (cliché name, I know)
MP: 70 per shot.

Set up multiple magic arrays around the user to charge and fire beams of exploding magical energy. Great range, area of effect and power, but high MP consumption so they cannot be fired consecutively.

Sleep of the Soul
MP: 5

Despite the name, it has nothing to do with the soul nor with sleep...
Causes extremities to go numb and effectively immobilizes the target.
A basic spell, can be shaved off easily by someone with enchanted armour and starts losing success rate when used on someone with at least half the MP as the caster.
 
Judgement of light seems to be a very powerful attack! That MP consumption is definitely very high, but I could see it being very effective against bosses!

Soul Sleep is a very interesting skill too! The ability to make the enemy numb and immobilized could cripple quick attackers.

Here's one in my game~

Storm Cloud

MP: 20

Sets a storm cloud above the enemy, that will shoot thunder on the enemy after 3 turns have passed. Deals a set amount of damage. A good retreating move~
 
Oh, Storm Cloud could also be used to generate advantageous conditions, in case it can also generate rain.

Recharge.

MP: 10

Starts draining magical energy fron the environment, amount of MP recharged varies depending on location, so under some circumstances you could end up recharging less than the spell's cost...
 
Recharge would be z skill you'd have to experiment allot with! Find out the different locations MP heal. A forest would probably heal a ton, due to all the natural energy, while a factory wouldn't, due to the low amount of natural energy.

Smoke Bomb

MP: 20 ( This could work as an item too. )

Set a smoke bomb on the ground, that adds +80 evasion to the allies right next to you. Every turn, it would be lowered by 20, so it would take 4 turns for all the smoke to clear up.

Answered Prayer

MP: 100

Fully replenishes the health and MP of one ally immediately after the spell has been cast/skill has been used.
 
And another:

Lullaby

MP: 30

The user sings an enchanting song that puts the opposing team to sleep for one turn.

Answered Prayer would be very effective in a pickle jar, and Lullaby could buy you some sweet time.

Hypno Rhythm
MP: 40
Target would be in a state of trance which causes confusion. Target would be unable to attack for 2 turns and would receive twice more damage from normal attacks.

Inferno

MP: 15

Fire Damage to all enemies, but when it hits, targets are unable to have their HP healed for 4 turns.
