Thief 3: Deadly Shadows won't run on windows 7

i have a Thief 3 disc that i borrow from a friend and i was wondering to play it on my pc but my current problem is that it won't start it keeps giving me error force to close the app someone told me to patch it, i did but it didn't work i am still having problem if someone could help me pls it would be cool.

Different step made to make it run:
Change the comptability mode to windows xp but it didn't help
Patched the game but nothing

put i think it's a computer core prob.

Hm, that's a real shame. I think I did play that game on Win 7. Either that or Thief Gold. Did you manage to get it to work?

I did but it didn't someting a guy who own the game said to make it work but no chance i'll be playing Mademan or hitman 3 until it's fix or still enjoy myself with my xbox one and thanks i am gonna do that.
