Things to be introduced in future gens...

Just thought I'd create a thread for speculation on future gens. Basically, post something about a gen after the gen the previous poster used and say something new they could introduce to the game. It's somewhat of a mini-forum game of sorts I guess but it's also for meaningful speculation if you can think of some for things TrollFreak GameFreak could actually do! I'll start off...


In Gen 7, we'll probably see a dolphin pokemon as the water starter. Why? Because we're yet to see one as a pokemon!

In Gen 8, we'll get a Fire/Grass type pokemon, as it's one of the remaining unique typings that GameFreak hasn't decided to use yet. Water/Grass has been around, but not Fire/Grass

How about a legendary Pokémon that has EVERY TYPE and has exclusive, one-hit-faint attacks. The only drawback is that you can only use each once and you need an event item to get it. Name: Ultamatus

Ok, so we'll count that as the Gen 9 one (read the original post)


In Gen 10, we'll get an Electric type with Wonderguard. Then we'll have a pokemon with no weaknesses (assuming it's given an Air Balloon to give immunity to ground type)

The should be a new pokemon type in the newer generations example - Slime (type) and maybe much more realistic gameplay and two regions to explore instead of one.

Fairy is better than Dragon now, though.

In Generation 13 there will be 2 shiny variations for all Pokémon!

In Generation 14, we'll see a starter with an evolution that's part Fairy, to keep things balanced. (idk what the last part of the reverse triangle would be though . . .)

In Generation 16, there will be a new item introduced that'll allow one to breed legendaries (and thus make the legendaries not so rare and legendary )

In generation 17, there should be up to 4 different pokemon types aat the same time... like a Water/Grass/Fire and Dragon type pokemon for the Generation 17 Legendary!!!

In Generation 18, Black Kyurem will have its type modified to Dragon/Ice/Electric and White Kyurem will have its type modified to Dragon/Ice/Fire.

In gen. 19, that Pokemon I suggested, Ultamatum will have a unique shiny for region.

In Gen 20, the pokedex will be so big that DLC will be necessary to actually fill the entire pokedex due to too much additional data being necessary for it to be full

they will make a way to combine all regions and
have 5 evolution stages for each pokemon as a average

Haha I'll give it a better name the Thanksgiving Pokemon.
In generation 22 there will only be 7 Gyms and 2 Champions to battle once defeating the elite four , there would also be special events during events in real life.

In Generation 23 we'll get a pokemon that has a branched evolution that evolves depending on the geographic location in the world that you're in at the time of evolution

in Generation 24 , all Pokemon will have at least 3 types and then an alternate mega evolution to evolve into and can now hold two items which will make it over powered in competitive battling.

In generation 25, all Pokémon from generation 1-6 will be discontinued to make the Pokédex shorter.

In generation 26, there will be a new Pokemon-type called Devil, and it's speciality is beating Fairy-tyoe Pokemon
