Think Mr. Game & Watch Final Smash Should Be Nerf?

Mr. Game watch was good character Since Melee never have a problem with him till Brawl just the one thing make him little bit unfair is his final smash is so inescapable.

Even when I play as Him feel other never have fair chance of doing anything to avoid the big octopus that is blocking your way.

I compare him from other people Smash in Brawl they were all avoidable if you got the timing of the dodging and everything. Mr Game & Watch is pretty much instant kill no matter what you do if he got the smash ball sadly. Still currently researching more of Mr. Game and Watch and other character Final Smash Move

Although I notice they nerf other character Final smash attack still question why they kept Mr. Game & Watch Final Smash attack.

So what ya think about Mr. Game & Watch Final Smash?

I actually agree with that...I mean, on some maps, so is Fox's tank, but at least that can only barely fly...

Yea Fox is Inescapable too depend which map you on. Like Hyrule Temple is the safest to avoid the Landmaster

The Smash Ball appears randomly and basically gives the ability to kill very easily. Which means it's meant to be fun in parties, not fair.
If you want a fair game, disable all items, including the Smash Ball, and you won't care anymore about Mr G&W's octopus.

True But when it come down to it want think how to avoid it like Ness PK Star Storm is like easiest for me to dodge, also saw a video that super sonic is possible to avoid, and Mario might be the easiest out of all to dodge.

But yea super smash ball is meant to KO easily just looking at Mr. Game & Watch might be way over doing it and think should be nerf in my opinion

Well, I guess they could make him slower when in the final smash. But I thought it was fine. I was able to escape it but just air dodging or rolling.

They made Ness's a bit harder to dodge (in a way) by making it more like Lucario's Aura Storm from Brawl rather than a lot of randomly appearing stars going down in random places.

As for Game & Watch, final smashes were meant to be OP anyway, so I'm not too concerned. There are others like Fox and Falco that are capable of easily KOing with their final smash.

In Game and Watch games it's like that. Lose 3 times and it's game over. Ness got a Final Smash buff too. Honestly it doesn't matter for me because it's not like I use that that much and they are never used competitively unless it's for fun.

it doesn't seem op,its attacks doesn't do a ton of damage its just annoying that an invincible giant squid is on the feild

Well it's not an instant KO, every final smash is able to be avoided, it might be hard, but it is possible. He is my main and people don't complain when I use it, because they avoid it. Just learn to avoid it and you will be safe from it.

I think his model needs to be fixed because his high of in his final smash is the real reason why this thread was made. They need to scale his model down and It would be ok. I liked his final smash because the tenacles can juggle opponent's into kos.

lol i remember that weak final smash lol. It is still so funny to look at and just being that octupus or squid. It was so funny watching people run away from it including me. It was an okay final smash
