Think there'll be a discount on Dual Destinies in North America?

wasn't completely sure if this fit for 3DS games section
So there's a discount for Dual Destinies and a Professor Layton game over in Europe because Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney released on the eshop over there. Think there'll be a similar deal over in the North America once it reaches us? Why or why not?

Reasons why it will:

  • It makes sense, Atlus shouldn't be the only big company that has great sales.
  • It wouldn't be fair if only Europe got it
  • It would be great for those wanting to try out either series. I personally wznt to play Ace Attorney for the first time ever, but $30 is too much.

Reasons why it won't:

  • Nintendo of America treats the eShop like crap.

Yeah, i agree with @Nanamine 's point, it wount be fair if Atlus the only company treating us with great sales, and if it does go to NA eshop, it's like a wish comes true for me :p (been waiting for the game to be on sale). But yeah, NA doesnt really gives eshop much respect, because they managed to have great sales over retail one

To be fair, Nintendo has done a heck of a lot better with the eShop than they ever did with WiiWare & DSiWare. The latter rarely had sales/promos, but they are now common. Of course the discounts could be better ...

Dual Destinies is worth $30 imho, but I do hate to suggest downloads when a physical version is available (even if its outsides our region) Nintendo getting an account system can't come soon enough!

There isn't a physical version of Dual Destinies available for North America because of a localization decision made by Capcom. However, I agree with WiiWare & DsiWare being worse than the eShop given that I barely even touched either of them lol

I don't reallly but i don't love guessing but maybe in the future it will be but i don't guest in this period it will it's hard to bet on that.
