this is impossible (literally)

ok, i've been attempting this for quite some time now, and im starting to feel like its impossible. here's what i was doing....

i was playing super mario 3d world, and doing crown-crown as mario. i havent beaten this stage as anyone yet, but i want to do it with the worst characters first. and, the first two phases of the level arent bad, but phase 3 is practically impossible here. i just cant get past this part as mario. and here's why: the platforms flip back to back, in a split second. i dont have any sort of ability here to give me enough lift so that i dont miss the jump every time.

so, i really need tips here. has anyone done this as mario? ive used more than 100 lives trying to do this, so im getting kind of tired.

You have to keep the beat/tempo of the switch-blocks. During the first switch-blocks, make sure to do long jumps. After that dont stop running. Even if you reach a dead end you have to continue running in circles if thats what it takes. Make sure your jumps are small when you reach the stair-like switch-blocks. Jump higher when you reach the blocks of the same color.
 
alright, got it. even with that in mind though its still probably gonna be really hard.... i even tried the level as rosalina, and still couldnt do it. i cant even make it to phase 4-6 without getting low on time. *sigh* the struggle is frikkin endless... omg....
 
Well sometimes i go throught the same thing as you are now but sometime the impossible is always possible
you just got to do it over and over again until you've done it :thumbsup:

yeah thats the only way i would've beaten any of the games i beat: keep trying until i do it. if i wasnt persistent like that on my 100% super mario 3d land run, it never would've happened. glad to hear im not alone there, hahaha. ^^
 
Try to get leaf, it makes the level dramatically easier. Also, hold 1 cat mushroom to use towards the end. I suggest you go through the normal like normal and then use the cat mushroom on the dissapearing stairs. That was basically how I beat the game 100 percent.
 
ahh, thanks. that may come handy. one more thing though: i cant remember this. do you need to get the gold flag with just 1 character or do you need to do it with everyone? i've spent like 6 months on world crown after finishing everything completely (all characters& stars, etc), and ive been so focused on this that i dont remember how that works.
 
I know I was playing and im still trying to beat it I wish I was a pro so I could defeat any level unfortunely im not a pro and cant defeat it I hope I do soon so check out my account I may talk more about this at my profile so anyone want to come just come over and I'll start writing about it so please write to whoever made this to tell them if you complete it if you dont have it dont worry about it but im happy to answer anyones questions so I will write at my profile right when im done writing this bye!
