Do you think you can ever pull this off?

What do you guys think about Little Mac's aerial death combo?

I think it's amazing considering his air game sucks lol. I mean it's not something people would do on For Glory mainly because it's hard enough to lock them in the neutral air then footstool but it's still something worth mentioning.

For the people who don't know what it is:

What do you guys think?

Also, do you think you could do this?

I can. Sort of.

I've tried a few times but getting the footstool is kind of hard to do. Whenever I tried doing it on fg it wouldn't work because the characters I fought were smaller, making it harder for me to lock them. If I had faced a larger opponent like DDD or Bowser then I might have been able to pull it off. Or I should hit the training room to start off with @-@

Yeah, smaller characters are harder to lock than bigger ones.

DDD, Bowser, or my recommendation, Donkey Kong.

Go to training mode, set the damage to 30-50%, and practice. It's hard but rewarding. I've pulled it off a couple of times on DK.
I heard people do it with Bowser too, but for some reason they can't pull it off on other characters... maybe it's just them though.

I'll get to it then. Is it a true combo, or can the opponent DI out of it?

That's really neat (and simple) but personally I don't think it'll be that useful because first of all if your opponent waits after the dtilt or has a way of avoiding moves and then you (Little Mac) go for a nair you will be more vulnerable and might have trouble getting on the stage or a platform again. Personally I think LM as a lot of undiscovered potential and combos like this sort of like how Punch-Out!! is a puzzle game.

It's a true combo I believe. If you can get the first neutral air and footstool, then you have him locked. Inescapable. You could actually call this an infinite because as I said it's a true combo.

So just keep footstool to nair, then near the top up b

Yeah, I see what you mean. It can be really hard to pull this out of training mode, heck, it can be really hard to pull this combo off on training mode! Also, yeah, he has a ton of potential and in my opinion a lot of Little Mac players don't play him to his full potential (no offense to any LM players)

pretty much, but you want to up b after around 3~4 jumps (safe option) if they are at a high percent but if they aren't at a high percent (ex. 10%) and you manage to lock them you can risk continuing the combo because you'll be closer to the top blast zone.

Risk is its own reward in that case. The combo seems safe to start at at least 60%

Yeah, that sounds safe.
