Thoughts on cloud?

With the last batch of dlc's coming in, most people have already gotten cloud. I have tried him for myself, and while he does have select abilities that are unique to any smash game so far, there are weaknesses to cloud that can make him the most useless character I the game. Has anyone else experienced this? If so how, to make better?
 
cloud is overall a pretty good character. he hits pretty hard and his moves come out really fast too. plus he has some good combos and strings from up tilt and up air. the only downside about him is that his horizontal recovery is not really existent. but if he has his limit charged, then he can up b and make it to the ledge with the godly height it gives him, although he'd be open to a really hard punish. but i don't see him being completely useless, just try to keep yourself in control, and watch your limits.

What you mentioned about the horizontal recovery being non existent is true, but the only way you can bring it back is with as you said, limit breaker, which doesn't come by often. And most times (from what I have seen online) cloud is thrown off stage because of the half-second delay to actually use the limit breaker move
