Don't use Frederick too much, because the others won't get exp more if you use Frederick and leveling up Frederick is harder compared to others.

if u play easy mode, and don't have money ( dollars) to buy
"Golden gaffe" ( to earn gold in game for weapons,tomes,to forge etc.....);after 3rd chapter reeking box ( summons risen to map) will be available in a shop, it costs 500 gold and if u can defeat all risens after they summoned you can get 1000 gold which is double the amount of what you spend for the reeking box.

reeking box can also be used to level up your characters and gives you gold. By the way forgot to tell you risens level will differ on where you summon them.

Yeah, the reeking box is very useful for grinding your units. And earlier in the game it is mandatory to get them because your units would be dying very quickly when you reach chapter 7. Especially the units with the lowest defense.
