Lissa in Fire Emblem Awakening starts off as a Cleric, being useless when it comes to battle. However, she can turn into a Sage or a War Cleric after getting her to max level and class changing. Problem is, she's really hard to train as a Cleric, especially when she's at a low level, since she needs to heal allies to level up, and she's extremely easy to kill. I discovered a technique a couple months ago that helps train Lissa, and I've decided to share it with you guys. So without further ado, here are some tips for training Lissa.
First things first, you wanna have some Reeking Boxes. If you don't have any, buy some at the shops around the map. You wanna also buy some Rescues. Next, give those Rescues to Lissa and go to Chapter 17 (after you've already cleared it for the first time) and use a Reeking Box. Now what you wanna do is select your strongest unit, a random unit, and Lissa to the level. You can bring additional units if you want.
The reason of why you gotta select Chapter 17 is because when you start the level, you start inside a room, and there is only one way inside. Once you start the level, have your strongest unit block the way in and have it stay there the entire time. Inside of the room, have Lissa repeatedly use Rescue on the random unit that you brought along. This way, you can keep getting easy EXP for Lissa. Repeat this progress until she reaches max level. Buy more Reeking Boxes and Rescues if needed. Now, use a Master Seal to change Lissa's class to whatever you want. After this, all you have to do is train Lissa as a normal unit. You can use a Second Seal on her once she reaches max level once again (optional).
