Hey guys, Im new here so I reaally dont know how to post a nice post :/
anyways I just started playing alpha sapphire and have been grinding levels. What I just recently knew was the term IV'(even though I own a poke X before this..). I would like to know what I shud keep on putting in for a pokemon like marshtomp or kirlia(these are my 2 main pokemons at the moment).

Which Level have the two PKMN?
Just a Example(I could be wrong):
A Lv.23 Golbat has:
HP:71
Att:44
Def:48

Att:IV:10-13

If this is an in game team meant to help you get through the storyline, just use whatever you want to use, you don't really need to worry about EVs/IVs until postgame if you want to play competitively.

You wont need to worry about IVs for now. What you really need to do is EV train your Pokemon. This will increase your Pokemon's base stats and also give it more stat points as it levels up. A good way to EV train is Horde battling. Using a honey or sweet scent will attract 5 pokemon at once. However, each type of pokemon that appear in hordes give out difgerent EVs.

Please tell me, what gender your Kirlia is. You may have already evolved it since this post is old, but I recommend geting a Gardevoir instead of a Gallade. Gallade may look cool, but Gardevoir is a best attacker. Also, you may need an HM :Slave" so you can teach it a lot of HM moves. I recommend Blastoise if you ever get your hands on one
