Hai guys just bought ACNL and wondering if anyone has some helpful hints for me?

For example...from day 1 you should earn money by etc?
 
Nice! Hope you enjoy it! Some tips I'd say are:

>>Shake trees to possibly get some bells out of them (or something else that's yellow xD)
>>Make sure to keep playing on a daily basis, it will benefit you in the long run ;)
>>Talk to all of the animal villagers on a daily basis as well if you want to remember them forever.
>>You can still pop balloon presents without a slingshot. Use a Net or Shovel as the balloon present lowers toward the beach.

My favorite is the money rock, if you take your shovel and hit the rocks in town one of them will give you bells. Keep hitting it and you'll get a lot of money but the chain breaks easily if you stop or character slides back too far.

Also, if you collect a lot of fossils, get them identified but don't give them to the museum and sell them instead you get a lot of money.

Also never time travel too far. I love getting in my 'time traveling phone booth' and going to the future but the weeds they are everywhere!

Only do this tip at the very beginning of the game, just for the quick cash. Once you have enough bells to work with, give whichever fossils to the museum that Blathers does not have yet. :p

Go and talk to Isabelle at the Town Hall. If you keep doing what she tells you to, you will be able to buy another tool that you other wise would have to wait a couple of days to get (for me it was the shovel) and she will also at some point of doing things give you a basket of foreign fruit that you can plant into trees.

I know I mde the most bells my first few days simply from fishing. So thats a good start :3

Thanks guys so much. 3DS just died like meh I'm dying so I will continue building my city on rock and roll...I mean money...tomorrow ((^♢^))

What should I do with an emerald 2nd day in and do I need water can for planting an apple tree?

When you have the emerald, go sell it to Re-Tail. She'll give you about 1000 bells or so for it. Everyday there is a rock in your village that was never there before. This rock is an ore rock. You break it for ore, which you can sell to Re-Tail for more bells. Once you get to know your village you can come to look at a rock and tell which one is the ore rock because it was never in your village before. Its a lot easier to find than the money rock is XD

A watering can isn't needed in order to grow an apple tree, or any fruit tree for that matter. Spacing your tree saplings away from other things in your town is very important to ensure the success of your tree growing. For example:

There cannot be any natural or built structure in the immediate vicinity of the tree sapling you plant.

Listen to Voluxian's explanation well. I have lost a lot of trees because of this mistake T_T

Tour kidding our visual is awesome. I died because of this. Thanks guys you've really helped me. Atm just trying to find a swimsuit. Found 2 gems and have a loan to pay off but 12000+ coins. Really enjoying this game thank you. Sorry if I keep asking questions. I'm useless :hilarious:

Lol, its fine XD Ask away.

You can buy a swimsuit at the Island for about 40 Medals. If your island isn't open yet I can see about having you come visit mine, though you'd have to play quite a few tours to get that many medals.

Medals are basically a form of currency, just like bells. But you can only use medals on the Island to buy stuff there and you get the medals by playing little mini games called 'tours' on the island.

Its not too hard but you have to play a lot of the games because most only give you 3-5 medals per tour. Easy but time consuming. @_@

You get medals by doing tours on the island, they take up a lot of time, so if ur bored this is a great idea! The wetsuit is used for diving in the ocean to collect sea creatures which you can, donate to the museum or sell for some quick bells. But that isn't the fastest way of making bells, catching beetles on the island is the fastest

-Talk to everyone in the town so they know who you are.
-Go sell some fruits to the retail store.
-Buy a fishing pull, net, and shovel.
-Catch bugs, fish, and dig up fossils.
-Then upgrade your house.

Thats what you should do on your first day of ACNL. Its a relly fun game i hope you like it.
