Toad as a playable character in SSB4

Do you think Toad will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/WiiU?

I've never played with Peach in Brawl or any other Smash Bros. game, so I'm not sure if throwing a "Toad" is one of her abilities, If it is, this screenshot makes it unlikely for Toad to appear as a playable character :

What are your thoughts?

I don't think and I don't wish it.

Too many Mario characters, I want other Nintendo characters.

Yeah I remember playing with Peach a lot on Super Smash Bros. Brawl and I think that she uses Toad as a protection shield it bounces the enemies move right back at 'em.

I don't think so. Maybe as an 'assist' of sorts to Peach, throwing and whatnot.

I'd be indifferent if Toad was made playable.

I don't think Toad will be a playable character, but I do think Blue Toad or any other colored Toad might have a shot. Although, I really don't want to see anymore Super Mario series representatives for the next Super Smash Bros. games, maybe just one more, but that's it.

I too feel the same way about seeing another character in the Super Mario series, I feel like they sometime waste places on the roster for characters that are unnecessary.

Exactly, but I don't think it will be two characters, I think that they will share one spot like Zelda/Sheik did, but I can be wrong, I don't understand why Wii Fit Trainer, she/he has no dept really in character, I don't think that she /he is well developed enough to qualify to be on the Super Smash roster..

lol I don't see how Toad could be added in as a viable character. I mean, he's a bit on the weak side don't you think? Also, they've probably added enough troll characters as is (don't even have to bring up the fact that there are so many Mario characters already lol)

I totally rather Toad than Wii Fit Trainer, unlike the Wii Fit Trainer Toad character is more developed, sure he is one the weak side but I would take him any day unlike Wii Fit Trainer Male/Female.

Honestly, Wii Fit Trainer works better for me. My reasoning is that a) it's from a game not really represented yet, and b) it's viable in the sense you could easily provide attacking moves and such for her.

Oh yeah, well the developers went with the easy side because of the easy creation that the Wii Fit Trainer contribute.

Yeah, I sure hope they bring some Kid Icarus characters, it would make the game more interesting.

Lady Palutena, Hades, Chariot Master, and Viridi all aren't very viable for this game. I don't think we need a god in this game. With that said though, Magnus could likely work for this game.

Oh yeah it's Magnus forgot the name yes, but (SPOILERS) you do fight palutena in the part of the game, so they could use those moves! And there are also a lot other great characters in Kid Icarus Uprising . Also hades could be the final boss

Yeah, I know you fight Palutena in the game, but even then I couldn't see it being very viable. They'd have to nerf her and honestly it may not come as desired. Magnus is probably the best choice given he'd provide variety to it plus he HAS a good moveset he could use.

well toed is technecley in the game with peach so yeah. i think he should be a peson in smash that is toad i say yes and that nintendo should add tode to the game and that i wold play him for shore

I prefer Daisy, but at least Toad has amiibo for Captain Toad and Mario Party 10.
