Blizzeta (Twilight Princess)
=================================Blizzeta (Twilight Princess)
Blizzeta is an overall challenging boss, and has a great song that plays when you fight her. I think it this boss is special in particular because of how it actually became a boss. She used to be a friend, now she's got red eyes and sharp teeth and no arms, and then, if that's not enough for you, trys to kill you. Not too interesting, but I do like how they made it so you won't expect that you're "companion" for the dungeon ends up being the big bad guy. Or big bad gal.
4:
Twinmold (Majora's Mask)
=================================
Twinmold is very fun fighting. Especially in the 3DS edition. Unlike the N64, you get the giant Mask in the middle of the fight. It makes it a good challenge to have to kill the first blue twinmold, then collect the giants Mask, and watch a somewhat cool cut scene when you become a giant for the first time. The strange part about that boss though is the mechanics. I don't get how you end up strangling the red twinmold when you're a giant. It just happens.=================================
3:
Zant (Twighlight Princess)
=================================
Zant was a very, VERY fun boss. It was basically a boss gauntlet, except modified by Zant himself. It wasn't just bosses, too, it had mini bosses put in as well. A great second to last boss, and the music was good, too. Honestly, one of my favorite parts about video games is music. Especially because most songs I like don't involve words. But anyway, Zant in general is just a great character. Also, is it just me, or is it that his armor is straight up epic. Especially the helmet.=================================
2:
Koloktos (Skyward Sword)
=================================Koloktos is awesome. Did I mention one of my favorite items is the whip? Well, using it in this boss fight was crazy fun. Literally ripping off the arms of Girahim's clockwork toy of death, as well as hearing that satisfying noise as you pull back the whip, is somewhat... enjoyable. Really. For some reason, my favorite part of this boss is ripping off its arms. Also, it's really fun getting to hold its giant sword and repeatedly smashing it in the stomach. I really like the second stage, where it actually pops out of the ground to pound your face in with six giant swords in his six giant hands. But anyway, Koloktos is one of my favorite bosses. Here's my number one favorite Zelda boss.
1:
Ganondorf (Twighlight Princess and Windwaker)
=================================
As you can see, I couldn't decide if I liked the Ganon from Windwaker or Twighlight Princess more, so I just decided that I'd put both. But let's get to Ganon. The big bad wolf of almost every Zelda game. In both games, he has four stages of complete fun until you end up getting sword to sword in the final battle of your long quest. And when you finally beat him, I love getting to stab him with the finishing blow. In Windwaker, you roll around him, slash his back and leap into the air, then come down and stab him straight through the top of the head. In Twilight Princess, you knock him down to the grass and leap in to stab your blade straight in his stomach. And one if my favorite things in these boss fights is the music. They're both really good, and some of my favorite Zelda songs of all.=================================
Well, that concludes my top 5 Zelda bosses. What's yours? Zelda is one of my favorite games, and I think everyone should get to play it. I hope you'll read my next post!
