BlueJ was here.
Towns Folk
Ever since I got the demo for Smash Bros.,I've been training myself almost everyday to try and be in tip-top shape for when I face my opponents online! :D (Btw,sorry for my absence,charger's broken. :( ) Anyhoo,I also realized I CAN'T FRIGGIN' BEAT MY YOUNGER BRO WHEN HE USES LINK! Like,at all. .-. That...could be a problem,lol.

Do you know how to sidestep?

@Kyubey :Yeah,you just use R and left,right or down on the Circle Pad,right? (That actually took 2 days to figure out when I first got it,lol. XD ) The problem is when I press it,it doesn't respond as fast as it used to. ;-;

Ah, here's a link that may fix that problem. http://forum.3dspedia.com/threads/broken-l-r-buttons.7101/

Maybe you could just figure out what your brother is thinking, and predict when he's going to recover, use his final smash, etc etc. It also helps to grab to tack on some extra damage and Meteor Smashes when you knock him off the edge :D

Oh,ok.I'll check it out,thanks! :D And he's pretty crafty,,lol.He quickly changes strategy when you see through one,but I'll try him again later on,lol. :)

Yeah link's smashes are really powered up now. The best way to tackle link is with patience. At some point he is going to go for the side smash or miss a grab and then you can punish him hard. Other than that Dodge his whirlwind attack thingy and up smash and it should be easy. Pikachu is probably the hardest counter.

I think the most OP thing about Link in SSB4 is probably his shield. Most of the time, it repels any projectiles, even Mega Man's smashs or the Villager's Gyroid Rocket. But I admit that Link's Dash + A attack and his smash also deals more damage than they did back in Brawl or Melee.

Old reflexes keep making me bubble or roll out, but yeah that shield is pretty damn strong too

Hey! If you go to local play you can see how much damage each attack can deal (by hitting the Sandbag) if that helps you because I like to know stats like damage. You really have to know each character to do well and when I mean you know the character you need to know your basic advantages and your opponent's attacking style.

Link is slightly weak speed and recovery wise so you should constantly shield his aerials and projectiles. His Helian Shield can be a pain but that's only when he's not attacking or you purposely aim for the shield. You can shield in between Link's Smash attacks which leave Link vulnerable to Grabs and things. Mega Man and Mario are good counters if you use them well (with the cape on Mario or Mega Man's grabs and down aerial.
It saddens me to say that (because I'm not a fan of this concept), but at this rate, we'll be forced to set up a ban/tier list for SSB4. Because speaking of OP/Broken, Yoshi also has a fatal glitch (might be fixed in an update, though) :

Like you said there can be an update for that. XP

@Ashkil :That's all too true,lol.Even his dash attacks are lethal now! (Btw,funniest thing:Both using Link,and we kept using Dash Attack,dodge,Dash Attack,dodge on each other.Went on for 20 seconds,lol. XD ) @D4rkDragon :Yeah,the shield though! :eek: It saved me from crucial attacks from MegaMan's Smash Attacks! @Artisan :You're right,that always gets in my way,plus his one-two-slash attacks. :/ The thing I'll have to learn most is patience,and wait for an opening,lol.Thanks for the tips! :)

It only works in the Kumite mode for Super Smash Bros. 3DS where you fight an endless number of weak CPU
