Trouble with Tetsucabra

So I got MH4 a few days ago and now i am at the town of Harth. I got the mission to defeat the Tetsucabra and I cannot defeat it. Does anyone have any tips or tricks or know what weapon works the best? I would appreciate the help.

Don't get hit, hit it til it dies.

Break the tusks. Also, whenever the tail has the white stuff on it, it's a weak spot.

Try to minimize the amount of time you spend directly in front of him. (He tries facing you? Run to its hind leg/tail)
That way all you're gonna worry about is his leaping and hind leg stomping attacks

As for weapons, Its really up to you. You could wreck him with something like Dual Blades just as much as a Great Sword can.

I think you shoud try to avoid being right in front of it. Try to hit it by its sides. About the weapon i think that is something to the player, i mean, it is up you to choose the weapon that best suits your hunting style
