(i didn't know where else to ask this) so I got my sister the smash 3ds demo(I get her demos sometimes to keep her not bored)and she really likes it.im thinking of getting her the full game for Christmas.so IV been trying to teach her how to really play other than just jab combos and foward dash attacks. So far she's liked the villager and Mario, villager she knows how to recover and she loves the loid rockett.mario she just loves the character.any suggestions to help me teach her.

Let her learn on her own. Forcing her to do something might make her lose interest. Also, when you buy the new game, tell her to test all the characters to see who she really likes, because most people just switch to their old main right when starting.
and what level CPUs is she fighting?

she's can beat a level 5 starts having trouble around 7. Ya I'm trying not to force her but I know sometimes I do. I started with the demo and didn't learn most of the things about the game untill I got a hard copy, you never know she might become the next dabuzz(he's a smash tournament winnner)

atleast she likes it :)

Level 5 for a beginner is legit. I wouldn't suggest any higher until you buy the actual copy and she finds a character she likes.

;)thanks, just hope she likes smash bros

Have her try Mega Man too. He has great recovery and also uses projectiles for almost everything. However Mega Man is based off some jumping and jab combos.

I sympathize. I'm teaching my 9 year old sister how to play. Coincidentally, her favorite is also Villager. She's already experimented with most characters.

I wonder when she's gonna learn everything else besides a buttons

I wonder when she's gonna learn everything else besides a buttons
When you tell her she can hold R and press A for a grab (works better for Link in the demo)

When I first played Smash Bros, my first one was Melee when I was 6, I only knew how to attack and shield. So teach her shielding, sidesteps, rolling, and air dodging

I think it is good that you show her the way into smash (if this is the way to say it heheh), you're trying to teach her how to play smash while I am trying to persuade my girlfriend to at least sit next to me to watch me play or even letting her kick some buddies on the screen lol

So make sure that your sister plays with every single character in the game to see what she really wants, then after she get the hang of the game, teach her how to shield. And the rest she should learn on her own. I did that with my little bro to and that helped

Teach her some combos. And let her play a character with projectiles it will be more easy for her. Like mario. As soon as she gets better start to teach her how to short hop and more great combos
