Twitch App Possibility?

I was recently thinking to myself, "what if there was a possibility for a twitch app on the Wii u?" The app would not only allow you to watch your favorite streamers, but would allow you to stream Wii u games from the console. I know Xbox one has this feature and I'm just wondering if it will be a possibility

The Wii U connection would have to be way better than it is right now, since I've seen multiple players having connection issues with online games, myself included...

Fair point fair point. But, the people with good internet would be able to use this app. But the people with bad connection already would need to figure out how to fix it or stream

I have a good connection, it's only on Wii U I have issues

I can barely use netflix on Wii U and I have a hard time sometimes playing Splatoon, while on my PS4 using the very same connection I can stream, play online, use netflix without any issue.

I've read people are having issues with Wii U's connection even when using a wired connection

But also, I'm not sure there are that many Wii U games worth streaming? Is the market there?

There are many games that are worth streaming. I could list them but I don't feel like listing them. However, I do understand where you are coming from about wii u connection. Nintendo's servers have been a bit Buggy lately

Like stated above, the main problem is the wii u's lack of good connection. Using netflix is not that smooth on the wii u, where as my bro's ps4 runs netflix flawlessly on the same WiFi >.>

I also think that if it did happen, it would be only for watching live streams, as streaming straight from the console would require a connection higher than what the wii u can do >.>

One of the few reasons that I would actually want a live stream feature is that it's a good way to meet people that share your interest

I get how Twitch would be a good app if the previously stated problems are fixed, I myself just got a Wii U and decided the see if the browser could use Twitch, and to my surprise, it ran pretty smoothly. A native app would be great for me.

Someone made a N3DS app that loads twitch streams (in the browser!) so in theory it should be possible

Okay this would be soooooooo cool! However, as stated above the connection with the Wiiu is SO POOR right now that I highly doubt that we could ever be able to use it. Netflix is so bad and I have never, to this day, had a SSB match with a random person over the internet that has not lagged, which is sad, very very sad. Hopefully the NX could have something like this, but currently don't get your hopes up. Also, can anyone explain why the PS4 and Xbone Uno have a better connection than Wiiu.

I run Hulu and Netflix fine in my location. And for the lag in smash, that's not the servers, just your internet connection with the other person

I do like it, but will it happen? Possibly, If nintendo partners with them to make a free application. But not everybody streams, so keep in mind if nintendo were to parter with a company they would have to make sure lots of people would use it, right?

Considering that smash has a upload button, imagine how many (ignorant and idiotic) children would want to stream. It be very enjoyable for most and a free and cheaper way of streaming lots of games

Don't get me wrong, I would love to stream. Let's just hope for the best, because that's what we can do.

Bruh, this would be clutch. I've been using twitch a lot recently, so having the option to use twitch on the Wii U (via app) would be great! Streaming Wii U games from the app? Sounds like a dream come true. But like everyone said, there'd be a ton of connection issues, which is an instant turn-off for me. :/

This is slowly becoming a nesecity to me. This app needs to be on the NX or we riot, lol.
