my class has recently finished our ROV unit and are asking people what do you think of ROVs and what are some designs you would come up with? Would love to hear

I'd make an Underwater ROV in the shape of a cage. The tubing (pvc pipes) would act as the cage and I'd put the overall main unit on the inside; with the propellers and stuff slightly protruding out of the cage, while some on the inside to keep it hovering. It probably wouldn't function properly at all lol.

Nice lol and thanks for that compliment on top. Should probably have someway to make it buoyant
