Usagi-mayu
The failure mayor
Towns Folk
I couldn't recommend a game more. I didn't think it was possible for me to look up to anything higher than To The Moon and Nintendo games, but it was. Oh well. To the point.
First off, this game is absolutely amazing in my opinion. I'd rate it 10/10. The characters can get you really emotionally attached, the writing is extremely well-done, and the story behind it all is just fantastic. Oh, there's fourth wall breaking too. Everyone loves that, right?
It's an RPG, but you have the option to not fight. I love that. I really don't see why you'd kill any of these sweet characters anyway...
The person you control as is a human, the seventh one to fall down to a world where monsters live, which everyone (who is basically humans) on the "surface" call the Underground. They find themselves thrown into a world where your actions matter, they really, really do. And the power to save and restart if you did something you didn't like? To delete a save file, and start a new one? A certain character will remind you of what you done. If you murder someone in particular, this is what they say:
"Clever. Verrrryyy clever. You think you're really smart, don't you? In this world, it's kill or be killed. So you were able to play by your own rules. You spared the life of a single person. Hee hee hee... But don't act so cocky. I know what you did. You murdered her. And then you went back, because you regretted it..." They go on, but I won't spoil it for you, okay?
The person I just quoted, I really hate, yet really love at the same time. For reasons that might mind-boggle you if you look deeper into the story.
There are three main routes that you can take to the game which is Pacifist, Neutral, and Genocide. Your heart will shatter if you do a Genocide run after Pacifist and Neutral. And if you complete the Genocide route, it sticks with you forever. Permanently. There's no escape, no way to get out after what you've done. Cool, right? There will always be mentions after finishing the Genocide route and try to do Neutral or Pacifist about you being the "monster". Because your character is a dirty brother killer now.
The Genocide route is where YOU are the bad guy. Isn't that cool? The controllable person is the evil one, and the heroes go try to stop you. From what you ask? Not telling, gotta go look into it if you haven't stopped reading already! And from what I said earlier that the writing is spectacular, there isn't ANY mention at all of you being the "chosen one", "the one", "the hero/ine" blablabla when you do Neutral or Pacifist. You'll have a bad time if you're the bad guy. No joke. You'll probably be dunked on LOTS of times. (I'm so sorry for the mentions to the game I'm trying to convince people to look into xD)
The creator is pretty funny, and he's added a lot of funny Internet jokes that you don't expect. Also dogs. There are lots of dogs here and there. Adorableness.
So what are you waiting for? For me to tell you that I'm done talking so you can stop reading? I'm telling to go look into it now or when you have the time.
ALSO GOAT MOMS FOR THE WAY.
