Something that has happened to you while playing and you mess up, or do something wrong. The title really speaks for itself.

For me, I found 2 shiny Zubat in a horde battle, and accidentally use Heat Wave...

Well, the unluckiest thing that happened to me in Pokemon was when I was in the safari zone and I was catching some Pokemon. Then, I saw a sparkle in the grass across some rack bike tracks and Mach bike slopes. I thought that it was a shiny Pokemon so I rushed to the bike store to switch bikes. Then I found out you had to have both bikes. I searched on Google after that and I found out that it was only a mega stone

Some unlucky things that happened to me was when I was training up a charmelon to evolve into a charizard I accidentally sent him out like two to five times while trying to check its summary while leveling up.What a waste of time.

I tried to DexNav chaining shiny pokemon. I believe it is a Vulpix or maybe a Relicanth. My chain went up to around 130 and I give up. Just too unlucky not getting any shinies up until that point Dx
I got a few good IVs from that though

ooh I remember when I played x and y both of the games I tried chaining but everytime I tried, it broke like at 10 or 15 or so and when I was chain fishing I had a chain of 20 something and seeing that I was bored I just gave up and played something else.Another waste of my time in pokemon.

I'm quite lucky with chain fishing though. Got 2 shinies in 40 mins

For me it was in Pokémon X, I had just found Mewtwo and was ready to catch him. But during my battle with him he easily destroyed the Pokémon with moves that will make him super easy to catch by disabling him...I was forced to use my strongest Pokémon and it's weakest move caused Mewtwo to faint...I then googled how to get him back....I have to battle the Elite 4 again....

Another thing was way back in Pokémon Snapshot, it was the beach level and I was halfway done with the level when a meowth jumps onto near the track, I threw an Apple to get it to stay still so I can take it's picture of it...sadly my aim sucked and I hit the Meowth with the fruit causing it to faint on the tracks....I was stuck there...

I was playing Sapphire a while back, had just got my Mudkip and was past Oldale, went up to meet May and found a shiny Zigzagoon. No balls to catch it, and I just had to kill it. Zigzagoon aren't too special, but it's still a shiny, and I hate not getting them when I have the chance.

So I have a long bus ride, so one day I decided to train some pokes, and I came across a shiny, and was gonna catch it, but I stopped to get a drink of water from my backpack ad set my 3ds down on the seat and the bus stopped and my 3ds fell off the seat. I picked it up. 'Cartridge has been removed, please turn off console' I was ticked. Ad then once when I was a kid I didn't really know how to read so I was on the menu of pokemon ruby and I clicked new game on accident. Because I couldn't read. I was so stupid lol

When on GTS there was someone named Pokémon Challenge who kept putting up legendaries in exchange for weird level 100 (level 100 Magikarp for example) and one time I had the poke he asked for but it was level 90 so I trained it up in high speed. I checked GTS and it was still there then when I wanted to trade I got a message saying the poke had already been traded! And the levele 100 was trained really badly so it was quite useless anyway.

I saw a shiny metagross on the gts,it was for a I can't remember though I think it was an xerneas but I didn't want to get rid of my xerneas in my party so it had no purpose to me any more that beautiful shiny pokemon.

@DarkLord well you do get a shiny Beldum if you get oras early

Well it happened while I was chain fishing then BAM a shiny Magikarp appeared and I sent out my level 30 venipede and then I used poison sting and the shiny got poisoned and my next Poison Sting was critical D:

I lost my Pearl Cartridge. This may not seem too bad. Until you take into consideration the fact that it had hours upon hours of playtime. It had every Pokémon I've ever had starting from Ruby to Pearl. Which consisted of Pokemon from my Copies of Ruby, Leaf green, Emerald, and Pearl itself.
Not to mention it had a near complete Pokédex. I was missing Mew, Jirachi, and Celebi. And just a couple of others.

I had a chain of 40 Eevees which I find impossible to chain and when I finally found a shiny patch, I tapped my circle pad, ending my chain

I remember My friend had the unluckiest of the unluckiest . His Pokemon Platinum got somehow hacked and virused that any pokemon he puts in the PC will disappear and then one day he encountered a shiny Ponyta and he was so excited but then sudddenly his game suddenly reseted and glitched . It was really bad and I hope something like that doesn't happen to any of us lol

I saved after beating the 8th Gym Leader, then defeated the rivals and everything, got past the Victory Road trainers in the cave, and then when I got to the Elite Four, I shut my 3DS off because I wanted to fight them later...and I didn't save my game.
