The New Super Mario Series. Was REAlLY FUN! It went back to a basic platformer, They all had unique features

NSMB 1: Started the Whole thing

NSMB Wii: New Power-Ups and Layout

NSMB 2: WAN MIHLLIOHN COINZ

NSMB U: Gamepad platform creator, You don't know how much I thank my brother for using the gamepad! IT HELPS SO MUCH!

Luigi U: Play as Luigi & Nabbit.

Stop hatin' these were great games

Well the basic mechanics got old and sure there were a few new power ups, there was wall and triple jumping, Bowser wasn't always the boss in the level. I think the name is what makes them seem stale as well as the less popular new graphics. I mean why don't they have Mario games play like SML or SMW anymore where you can ride Yoshi/spinjump use older powers? I'm sure they are fine games but it's too much Mario for me and not enough shooting like Mega Man or Kid Icarus. The only real problem with Mario is he's too basic.
 
I also think they are pretty good.
Most people hate them just because it mantains the original SMB formula, which isnt bad at all, but can get pretty boring after playing a lot of games that feel the same.
Its great if you havent played any plataformer for a while.
 
I remember playing New super Mario Bros on my best friends DS on our way to hockey a good long while back, and I have to admit it wasn't terrible! There shouldn't be a lot of hate on this game, and frankly, I don't think there is really
 
I loved NSMB =)! The only problem is the idea gets old, and all of the NSMB games are like you're playing basically the same game. I enjoy them, sure, it's just they need something new added instead of just power ups and stuff.... I'm not exactly sure what though =P.
 
The New Super Mario Bros. Series has existed for nearly 8 years. There have been 5 games to this series so far and yet it's still called 'New' lol. I love each and every one of the NSMB. games to the Series and I hope it lives on a little while longer! :D
 
I actually like the series... Well, I only played New Super Mario Bros. 2, U and New Super Luigi, so I should say half of the series.

I think as a games they're great, but their graphic design and music are LAZY as hell.
 
I still really enjoy playing the New Super Mario Games. What I hope is the next one is on 3DS and there is a bunch of new power ups, new levels, just to make it more fresh. My favorite would have to be New Super Mario Bros 2 because I really enjoyed it on handheld and I liked the gold/coin gimmick. Hopefully in the next game there will be the Cat suit in it because that's what I'm hoping for :3
 
i never hated these games in fact it was the only game on wii that i still had before giving my wii away

the New super Mario bros games are the Perfect games to buy to a New console. Sure they get boring after a while, but they are pretty fun to play, ecspecially when you are a small kid that just got an exciting New console and tought that New super Mario bros for the Nintendo ds was Perfect!
