The update adds Share mode which lets players upload photos, replays and Mii fighters to Nintendo's server for 30 days so others can download them. That's pretty cool

Also, amiibo support if you actually managed to buy one.

It most definitely is, as the Wii U already had Amiibo support. However, I hope the share mode gets released for the Wii U version as well. Not sure on that, but it's a pretty cool feature. I knew an update was coming, as people didn't seem to know what to do while the servers were being updated. xD

@pepy550 is going to like share mode. We were talking about this a couple of days ago ^^ I doubt I'll be getting any amiibo so that doesn't really interest me much. Plus I still have to perform the update >.<

Which format are the videos saved as btw? (if anyone knows)

Haha yea! Last night I went to play some online smash and it said I had to update then after it updated it still wouldn't let me play, it read; currently under maintenance.... Needless to say I gave up that night lol

I got a notification on my home menu for SSB4. I went to my vault and on the replay option there was a little mail icon. I opened it and there were two replays One from @pepy550 and the other from @MaskSmash. They look interesting to watch though so I may watch them sooner or later.

I was going like "Yes!", then, I saw... it's only on Ninty's server. No YT, it seems. At least, we're getting something.

Share mode sounds like it'll be really useful. We can share those weird or awesome photos within epic matches with others which is cool. Replay data is a nice addition too, so it's not just limited to snapshots. Keep those memories of a tough battle that you barely survived and got through!

The adapter sounds cool though. We knew it was coming though. Smooth move, Nintendo.

Best update so far, definitely.

That said, the first match I played with this update (on For Glory) was hilarious, but I forgot to record the match and try out the share feature. I'm slightly saddened by that, 'twas a wasted opportunity.
