[Memento Mori]

Being a fan of the horror genre, I love everything that has to do with the supernatural, especially old legends and myths. I don't mean the common things like Bloody Mary or Slender Man, but stories that creeped out our parents and grandparents in the past.

This thread is for posting creepy urban legends from all over the world.

I'll start.

There is this urban legend in Japan where when someone gets lost in a forest or another remote area, they may run into a spirit that feeds on other spirits or other people. That spirit cannot move and all it can do is cast curses on whoever runs into him.

When the curse is cast, it sends a shadow that will follow the person around for 5 days. At first it moves really slowly, like taking a whole night to move a few meters, but as it feeds on the cursed person's life, it slowly gets faster and faster, and if within the 5 days the shadow manages to touch the person, they get eaten.

And by the way, whoever manages to dig up an old story that really creeps me out gets 20 Play Coins

I know a lot, but they are all about video games. Try searching by typing in Google these terms: "creepypasta BEN drowned/Sonic.exe (scared me for a whole month, and my neighbor played it on my laptop with full sound. I screamed like an insane girl)/Pokemon Buried Alive/Lavender Town Syndrome.

I watched My neighbor Totoro a while ago, and some people say that it's based on a murder case... And that Mei actually drowned... It ruined the whole movie for me . But it's still interesting.
