Remember what Nintendo said? Well, the 3DS supports SDXC cards, something Nintendo never tolds us...
The problem is not every SDXC card is compatible with the 3DS, but I suppose Lexar and Sandisk ones will work.
Anyways, if you don't want to use two memories due lack of space, here is the simple explanation to make the SDXC to work: Format it to FAT32.

(Where I live, a 64GB SDXC cost 2 games and the 128 GB one 4 games, or almost a console, so I can't try this. I will use the 32GB x2 way)
