This is a thread made to discuss the very meaning of life and the universe powerlevelz across video game characters.

Please keep it only for franchises that originated in Video Games.

Give a match, location and conditions, and please stay in-character and try to avoid gameplay mechanics-only arguments (like: "X can beat Y while he waits for his turn lol" or "Z can level up to 9999 so he's OP")

I would usually go for a more complete development though

Like, for example. Lenneth wins by abusing Link's lack of territorial advantage and rushing him with her warriors.

As for Mario vs Sonic, I guess it would depend on the area. Are Mario's jumps restricted by the location? Can Sonic abuse his superior speed? If it's on a cumbersome place, I'm giving it to Mario by virtue of him shooting fireballs and bouncing around, Sonic is bound to get hit, hard.
