I just was invaded by the ZEUS virus! I don NOT have anyway,
to pay for protection, so I tried to use my "virus detection" software,
and downloaded another just for this! But neither helped, I was told to call
somebody for support, but it I never called... Usually viruses DON'T hurt
my anything... But when I turned it off and back on.... all my accounts were
erased!!! And my Windows drives completely full...
I'm getting the accounts back right now... What should I do? How do I
fix my tablet?
One more problem, I CAN'T download anything... My tablet doesn't have a refresh or delete thing for the drive... is there anything online that could erase unneeded information?

Antivirus aren't the most effective way to delete this type of virus. Formatting would be the easier solution considering you must be using windows, but I don't know if this is possible on tablets.

It may not, I tried to format many times afore... but it keeps saying it's dangerous to try it, and stops me from doing it. Is there a way to force it? I have to log in everytime I visit a site: ON EVERY DEVICE NOW! I hate ZUES!!! :punch:

Ok, I'll try and help you with this:

1) I'll need details like what OS/version you have
2) How do you know it's ZEUS because it's incredibly hard for an anti-virus to pick up thanks to it's hiding techniques.
3) What have you've done so far so I don't say to try anything you've already done.

I don't know version I have, I wouldn't know where to look for it.

I know it's ZUES, because a warning message came up saying it would erase my memory!

I turned my tablet off, and started erasing extra files... before I did...
my tablet couldn't hold passwords

The warning is still on a tab, and it's saved (by itself) in my files...

So I'm confused. What devices are infected exactly, and if there's multiple then what was infected first then what did you do to make it spread.

Also, to find the version number just go to settings..

Have you got any screenshots or detailed descriptions so I can help you further?

Alright, I have Windows 8 Ematic Intel atom CPU Tablet Model:EWT932 .
Only my tablet was infected, but I could never access my accounts on any device. Wii U and 3DS
I can't post a screenshot, the warning message keeps me from barely leaving the page.
(It wouldn't let me let me go unless I turn off my tablet. It tells me to call Microsoft before I do anything.)

Okay, it might be a "fake" virus. Sometimes they leave an applet that covers your screen, telling you to call Microsoft. They list a number, which is never Microsoft's. So, if you call, you will be put on hold instantly, and be charged for the call. Now, if you had Malwarebytes on the tablet prior to this, you'd have a better chance of removing it.

Thanks, I assumed something wasn't... "right" (or "wrong") because it didn't do much to my tablet, I'll
look at this... every time I use an online manga site the message comes up... I could be getting picked on
more than actually attacked...

If you don't already, use an Adblocker called UBlock origin. it works for sites that block adblock, and also has built-in malware detection, so it prevents stuff like that.
