I haven't seen the MK8 Direct yet, but I read (in the comments of that video) that you can only voice chat in the lobby before the game begins, :unsure: If that's true, I'm okay with it.

In Call of Duty games, people leave their voice chat enabled and play annoying sounds to distract players, :panda:

Ah, I actually like that, then. Didn't know. I usually mute everyone in Call of Duty when the game starts, anyway. Unless I'm playing SnD or something competitive.

This topic is irrelevant now that it's confirmed, I guess someone at Nintendo updaed the eShop a few hours too early.
