Voice chat confirmed for the Wii U version

However you cannot enable this feature while playing

You can only do it between matches though I have a feeling this will help with the tournaments mode.

You also may only be limited to friends too, but that hasn't been confirmed

This will probably be pretty cool! It means that, if playing with friends over WiFi, you can just talk to each other easily, about the battle, or just whatever. And yes, I do think I'll use this feature when playing with friends! (That is, if I get the Wii U version...)

Finally it happens! Maybe they'll make a patch for it to enable voice chat during battles on the Wii U version. And on the 3DS version they'll make it so that you can chat before or after matches because really, it's hard to say something while you play with a friend online!

This is a neat addition. It really shows that Sakurai is really putting tons of effort into these games. These additions are really innovative to the franchise as a whole. It'd be cool if you could talk to your opponent in online matches. However, it would be awkward if they were Japanese or something and you didn't understand what they were saying.
