More free games are coming to the Nintendo Switch. The latest brings a free-to-play online first-person shooter called Warface. It reminds me of "Warfare" from Call of Duty and it isn't looking too bad.

Warface Trailer:

It's supposed to have over 50 PvP maps to go all out in with 200+ realistic weapons you can customize and 5 playable classes. Each class has a unique abilities, so that's interesting. There's also PvE raids for co-op you can do online withfriends.
Joint over 80 million players worldwide, and play for free now!
It says to join over 80 million players worldwide. I doubt that's how many Switch owners are playing right now since it's a new game on the console, so I'm guessing it supports cross-play like Fortnite.

I think I'll give it a shot one day since it's free. I hope it has motion controls.

What do you guys/gals think?

It’s been on pc for a while, but just never seemed to interest me, but if it’s on switch I might give it a go.

For someone who prefers the PC version of Warframe, I wonder why you'd want to try the Switch version :p

it just looked like a generic fps when I first saw it, so I just found something else to play :p

Haven't played a shooter w/friends before that isn't KI: U. I'll probably bomb at it but hey it's free and it doesn't look bad.

doesn't interest me much, but i'll still try it since its free.

I thought you just misspelled Warframe for a moment, then realized it's Marc... the most grammatically correct person in this forum. I guess writing that ToS by yourself taught you a lot.

This looks like a really, really, really amazing game, so I'm expecting a loot box galore. I really don't want the game to be centered around loot boxes and microtransactions, that would just ruin the experience. I hope it's similar to Fortnite, while it does have a lot of In-App Purchases, they are only cosmetic and don't give people a competitive advantage. If the microtransactions aren't bad, this might be a good game to try.

The game is cross-play, supporting:
  • Playstation
  • Xbox
  • Nintendo Switch
  • Steam
  • And a site called store.my.games

It is very good that there are more free games for switch, certainly it looks great and seems fun

I've given up on this game.

It was fun when I started playing and learned some of the ropes, but I'm stopped playing because it's easy to spawn trap the opposing team and they respawn right in front of your bullets. So if I have two or three good players at the enemy spawn, we can totally annihilate them if we manage to stay alive.

The machine gun with the robot is kind of OP too.

I don't really like the idea of having to pay real money to get weapons tho, especially since I can't test-drive 'em to see if I really want to keep it. So it's like trial and error. If you don't like the weapon you buy with real money, it goes to waste.

This game has been out since 2013 on other devices, It could be that this was just a new thing happening, and they might fix it, but otherwise, I would not get this game

Wait, you can't test any weapons? What kind of game doesn't allow you to test weapons that you are paying REAL money for. That's like saying that for a really expensive game you want, there is no demo for it, and you haven't seen any gameplay of it or anything. You basically only know what the publisher has given on the game and that only. I wouldn't give the game a try if that were the case, and I certainly don't want to play a game where you have to pay for better weapons, I see that as a pay to win tatic.
