In Gen 6, a Pokémon with the ability Drizzle, Drought, Sand Stream, or Snow Warning will make the same effect as if it had used it's weather inducing move as it switched in. This means that after the switch-in, the weather effect will only last five turns and only five turns! How do you guys think about this? I think this is pretty good because I got destoryed just by bad weather and being poisioned!

Sure weather does damage a bit and helps aid in the boosting of moves in pokemon but I think the best weather is a sandstorm,it does a little damage and boosts rock, ground and steel pokemon defenses plus some pokemon may have an ability that corresponds with the weather like sand veil or sand rush.So weather can really be a big deal if you have the correct pokemon that is.

Sand only boosts the Sp.D of Rock types, Ground and Steel types are just immune to the residual damage from sand.

Good to know that means my tyranitar will demolish any pokemon that gets in his way and hit them every turn with his raging sandstorm, rain is good weather for some pokemon as well and when using thunder it can be devastating from a kyogre.
