Persona Q What are link attacks in Persona Q?

What are they? I've got Orpheus Teleos as one of my Personas and he has a bunch of link skills. I get that the following attack will get like an "extra" link attack but is there a way to keep the chain going or something? I don't really understand the mechanics here.

I tried looking some info up on it and couldn't find much to help . I could find vid of people doing link attacks but nothing really explaining it in detail. I'm sure it might tell you what they are some where in the game it self but it's been a bit since I have played it so I can't really say for sure. Maybe try looking at the in game manual , it might have something there but not 100% sure on that.
