What are the contents of the new update in Kirby Star Allies?

I come across some news about a new update hitting Kirby Star Allies. It sounds like a lot since it mentioned it being "wave 3". I'm not sure what were in the previous waves, but if it's only dream friends, I don't care too much. But anyway, I've heard they added more dream friends and a new mode but I'm not sure what this new mode is about.

Is that all they've added in the updates? What's the new mode about?

Yeah, all they added was three dream friends and a new mode. The three dream friends that were added were Magalor, Taranze, and Susie. The new mode is called Heroes in Another Dimension, and I think it’s about fighting harder versions of the bosses, and you can play as Dream Friends in this mode as well.
