What are your thoughts on Golf Story?

So Golf story is basically a mixture of story driven rpg and the so called golf sport which combined with a load of pixel art graphics is a delicate and charming game to try out.

I was immediately crazy about the game since I saw it on the last nintendo direct. I am not golf fan at all, but it is not just a matter of liking or disliking the sport, the fun thing here is the story it has to tell. I am not spoiling anything here, I just recommend this game because it looks good, the dialogues are fun and you will probably have a good time playing it.
So people, what do you think, are you picking it up or you just ignore it?
Then, tell me if you have bought it and what are your impressions on the game.

I picked it up, and it's kinda fun.

I'd say that it is not quite worth the price tag, but it has enough content to last a while. It's just a tad repetitive and we've seen so many golf titles in the past that it's quite hard to impress someone at this point. They didn't re-invent the wheel, they added a story to a golf game, with some stats

Well, I have to say I agree with you up to a point. It is certain that when it comes to golf and playing golf games there haven´t been too much of an improvement, in my own personal opinión, I am not a golf game player, but for some reason this game had something that awoke my interest, and as you said, they added a story to a golf game. that could possibly be the case, I don´t remember anything like it, I mean, when I think about golf games, it is just that, the game about the sport and nothing else.
Regarding the Price, I think it is a fair Price if we think about the many hours of game that you can enjoy, but this is just my opinión.
