what attacks are good for charizard

what are the best moves for a charizard.
 
What kind of Charizard? Normal, X or Y?

Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast Main STAB in sun
- Solar Beam Only 1-Turn in sun!!!
- Focus Blast OHKO Heatran and Tyranitar or 2OK
- Dragon Pulse Dragonite, Charizard-X, Latios, and Goodra and other Dragon types. 2nd STAB

I would say Flamethrower, Fly, Dragon Pulse and Earthquake.
They all are different move types and they all have decent power and accuracy.
They all have at least 10PP too.
That is what the move set I think is best but you should check out websites for more trusted and better information.
(I don't really like status moves);)

Please no fly. People can switch in to counter it and something not super effective againest it.... :( PP doesn't really matter in competitive battling, you can use 3 PP ups or 1 max to up it. Fire Blast is better with better power but bad accuracy lol but it is worth it with STAB. Earthquake/Fly is bad because when you invest in SpAtt you get almost none in attack lol and Charizard Y has bad attack stats.

Yeah, I think you're right. I think I'll follow youre advice. You seem to know more about battle strategies then me.;)

Earthquake is actually viable on Char Y as it allows it to reliably deal with Heatran better without the risk of missing Focus Blast.
