SSB for 3DS What character is better for online 1v1

I'm asking because some people say jigglypuff is better, but I don't know why they say that, I prefer using kirby but I want to ask you for your opinions.
 
Marth/Lucina is good for edge guarding, Pit and Dark pit are ok, Lil Mac is a No-No (especially against Zero suit Samus, and Sheik), and Captain Falcon is mediocre. Try using Diddy Kong or Ness and see what you think.
 
some one with a counter or edg guard such as marth lucina ik lucario greninja little mac or shulk

I'm no expert, but I fare well with Falco and Marth. But to answer your question, I think Jigglypuff is better, coming from personal experience as I've had my butt handed to me by them.
 
I like using kirby better. I'm more comfortable using him. (Kirbys a guy?!:eek:)
I love Kirby's down special as well. It kills:sneaky:
I never use jigglypuff cause I'm not pro enough xD
 
Between Kirby/Jigglypuff, I would say Kirby. I love how he can copy his opponent's abilities, and then do that cheap thing where you can let them out on the edge and kill them (I don't recommend doing this, it's very cheap, but it's hilarious) xD I've never really liked Jigglypuff in this series.
 
Between Kirby and Jigglypuff in Smash 4 or Melee, I'd say Jigglypuff but not even for the same reasons. His neutral air is a real killer. Sends far forwards, has an hitbox that covers more than your body and that lasts for a while (even though the first frames do more damage). You can push someone off the map at low percents very easily with just this. Just Neutral air once, then twice before they get out of their hitstun, then a third time, etc.

Kirby wins over Jiggly IMO as I feel like he has better attacks and in general better moves. Now, for 1 v 1 matches, I'd say Marth, ZSS, Meta Knight, and Greninja. All the characters I mentioned are pretty quick and can do some serious combos, especially Meta Knight. Marth is easily the best edge guarder in the game due to his incredible attack range and recovery speed. ZSS is great for aerials, and Greninja is just so unpredictable.

Not that I care a lot about the tier list (or I would play someone a lot higher than Jigglypuff) but some more experienced people than us said that Jigglypuff was better. And I kind of agree with the fact that Kirby has more powerful attacks but their knockbacks don't have interesting directions except his down air's last hitbox while I maintain that Jigglypuff's neutral air can really kill a lot of people even at low percents. And when your opponent's last stock starts to be long, you can use rest too.

Both are great at 1v1s, mostly because both of them can Fair opponents to The Wall Of Pain :sneaky:. Plus they both crouch insanely low, a charizard could flare blitz right above them and they'd be left untouched (no joke I've done it before). I don't really think one is better than the other when it comes to 1v1s, but I picked Kirby since I'm most experienced with him.

I like DK and sometimes Mewtwo online. They are have good range so it's easier to hit my opponent. They also have powerful neutral specials for the lag/read. DK up b also covers roll. Any character that can combo would have a hard time in lag because it's so easy to get out of combos and faster lighter characters have less of an advantage in lag because they have faster reaction times you can't take advantage of.

I'd definitely would say Kirby over Jigglypuff since copying opponents abilities can be really helpful in many ways and it gives a few more options for Kirby , some being very useful . Jiggly Puff is great too but I believe that Kirby tends to be more better because of that reason :p

I don't agree with that for at least three reasons.

The first one is that your "copy move" only give you an ability if you manage to copy your opponent, and if you're always inhaling, your opponent might guess what you are trying to do and avoid being copied (by attacking you from above for example).
The second reason is that some moves you copy aren't great. For example, the Falcon Punch will never be useful (except against noobs who can't dodge a Falcon Punch, but then I guess you would be able to beat them without a Falcon Punch).
The third reason is that you are not able to choose your move, you can obviously only copy an opponent. Which means your move set is not set and you don't know how to use that move you got. So even when you have it, you never use it (except maybe a gun (Fox, Falco, Samus, etc), which doesn't need a tutorial).

And remember JigglyPuff has Rest, which can kill anyone anywhere on the stage if they have high damage.

Those reasons are probably why Kirby is currently 37 in the tier list and JigglyPuff is 21.

Jigglypuff is not as bad as he seems
If used correctly jigglypuff can be really effective
Jigglypuff is pretty good with combos and the attack where he goes to sleep cab be deadly if used right
Also like Kirby jigglypuff can puff well back onto the stage
I also perfer jigglypuff amazing final smash where he annihalated Ever one near

Not even true, Jigglypuff can come back on stage better than Kirby thanks to that side B which allows him to move sideways almost without losing height and all of that without using a jump. So yeah, Jigglypuff is completely better than Kirby.

I main Shulk, and he was a very comfortable start for my online tournament ark. But I believe Kirby is more better since he is a balanced character other than Jiggs. Jiggs doesn't fare as well in online battles due to her floaty nature.

I prefer to go with kirby because he has great combo game and is well played. He is strong and if you do a fail kirby can easily punish. He also has great setup game and combo game like down throw to back air right away and down air to forward smash of down smash and her spike is pretty good it works better if you do it two times in a row for them to go more further down to their death

Kirby, is...a boy.
Yeah, Kirby is also a balanced character to pick up and play. I consider Kirby as the Jack of all players since he can steal the opponent's neutral b special. Kirby is pretty nifty to use and he is also pretty sufficient with his combines.

Yea lol i accidentally put kirby as an her lol. Well kirby is an awesome character but not the type for my Im more of a sword character that why I will always main link for life! But it seems that kirby can just kill you very easily because if she sucks you in her mouth and she falls of the ledge you will die but this only works if you go down pretty far and if your character has a bad recovery but it is still possible to get out of
