What do you all think about the 90's Internet?

I first went online back in 1995, On my schools Computer. It was weird. We had to dial up the connection on the fastest modem that they had back then. And it was a 56K dial up.. The pages took a minute to load. But it was the first & best Internet experience that I had. Back then the Internet was new. Not that many people had it. Also I remember hearing the PC dialing up the connection through the PC Speakers. It always had that weird sound. I've posted a video below, that will show/ let you hear the dial up noise.

I remember that nostalgic sound! I feel so old now. I had a dial up connection for a really old computer I used, and it was as slow as heck, so annoying. The pages would take forever to load, and the fact that you can't make a phone call or receive one whilst the connection was in use, was a real pain. xD

Oh boy I do remember. ThougH I had it a few years before the 2000.
There were so many inside jokes and humour that only the people that interacted online would understand before getting spilled into the news and everyday use.

I also remember that you had to be careful because while you were connected the home phone couldn't receive calls. if someone tried to use the phone or connect another computer you would lose your connection. It would be so frustrating if you were downloading something. p2p programs were so popular. To download a movie or a bunch of songs you'd leave it up all night.

I remember some school mates stealing the school provider and password to get free Internet at home.

I remember when the Internet was just released. It was back in 1995 I was 13 years young back then. A door opened up for me, like heroine swimming through an addicts veins. A door opened up to a new world. My computer teacher told us about yahoo. and told us that most sites end with .com. The first site I checked out was www.nintendo.com. It took about a minute for the site to load. but it was awesome... the next site I checked out was lego.com. Back then everything was 16-Bit in game consoles. the N64 wasn't out yet. Also. you always had to type www. back then.

I wasn't around those times but I can say that it was pretty horrible compared to what we have now but it was really the beginning of all the wonders that we have now like faster internet and other conveniences . Sometimes I wish that I could actually see what is was like but that would be pretty weird >.<

When I used the internet, no one was allowed to use the home phone (I don't think they can anyway).
Can't remember how slow it was but it took super long to connect!
