Nintendo 3DS Legend
Towns Folk
When you talked about the old consoles with people, did you abbreviate them "N64" or refer to them by their full name "Nintendo 64"

I always referred to them by their name:
Nintendo
Super Nintendo
Nintendo 64
Gamecube

I use their shortened names, except for GC. I say Gamecube. GC just sounds weird. xD

I just call them by their names, as well. Gamecube, Wii, DS, etc.

Maybe I'll name my next system "Wootenbanger". :p

I usually use the actual name itself, or an acronym (NES and SNES, N64).

I usually call the NES original Nintendo. Otherwise I use the abbreviated words, SNES, N64, ect.

I just call them by their name too. Only abbreviations I use are for the PlayStation consoles.

I do a bit of both. I call them by their real names or sometimes if I'm lazy then I use their shortened names.

Of the ones I have:

Wii
GameCube
N64

All by their names except Nintendo 64, it's just too long to say all the time.

I usually call my gameboy advance SP a gameboy. My DSi is just the DSi.My DS lite was a DS. Nintendo entertainment center was the NES and the super one was the SNES. GameCube was GameCube. The Wii is the Wii. My 3ds XL is just the 3ds.

Lessee.... For the original, I go back and forth between "Nintendo" if I'm talking about playing games on it, or "NES" if it's the part of the conversation where people are being all impressed that I still have one hooked up...

SNES, or "the Super"
The 64
Cube

And after that, everything had supershort names anyway. Wii and Wii-U can be what they are xP

I agree, except for the n64, which among my friends and I (I'm the only one that has one) it's just 'The 64'.

I usually call my Nintendo systems by their full names except for some like the Nintendo DS , I never heard myself ever say something like the Nintendo Dual Screen to anyone :p I'd never say GC before only GameCube and the same goes for the N64 , but the rest is by their full names :p

I can see that happening.

I referred to the Nintendo 64 as the N64, the Nintendo Entertainment System as the NES, The Super Nintendo as the SNES, the Gameboy as a gameboy, The Gameboy Colour as the gameboy colour, the Nintendo DS as the DS, and the list would continue, but I called them as their simplest or least confusing form.

I callthem by their abbrieviations, except for N64 I sometimes just say "64." Also, I call GameCube by it's full name.

I call all of them the same thing. I never knew people named their systems other things than their real name. Might as well think up one now.
